Walking alone in the dark wilderness you notice the lovely scent of burning wood.  It is a campfire.  Your pace quickens as you are drawn like a moth to the flame.  Campfires mean friends, stories, music and food.  Then you hear it!  The sound of bells, drums, singing, laughter!  Now you are running.  Long ago you left your bags on the side of the road.  Breathing hard you burst onto the scene, giddy and smiling.  This is the lure of the gypsy.

Follow you heart to this months Gypsy Emporium where you can meet and mingle with some of Kansas City's finest nomadic artisans.  Celebrate Valentines day with a special handmade gift that will make your heart sing and your soul dance!

Click the Gypsy Emporium poster for more information and a map to this months event.  Be sure to join the invitation list to get a your monthly invitation from the Gypsies!

2009 marked my first Young Living convention, but it surly will not be my last!  I was already convinced of the healing properties of Young Living products.  What really surprised me was the amount of information Young Living gives to anyone who is interested.  It is this attitude of sharing that I came away with and want to keep passing on.

I took classes in Essential Oils and Quantum Physics, How to build a Young Living business, How to market on the internet, and the 7 top women's health issues and how essential oils can be used to treat them.  I also was inspired by many nationally known guest speakers.  Their topics included nutrition, the life cycle of a virus and how essential oils can be used to treat the flu, new product research in the Amazon, oils that treat inflamation, internal motivation and positive thinking and how Young Living Therapeutic Grade essential oils are grown and researched and intended to be used.

I came away inspired to continue the cycle of giving by sharing this information with others so please take a look at the calendar and attend a class.  If these times don't work for you let me know so we can set something up that does.  Now is the time to make the switch to healthy medicine.

Funny, I was just visiting the Young Living web site and saw that Frankincense is the featured product.  I would have to say that it is also my favorite.  I have long been a fan of the earth, spiritual aroma of this ancient healing oil.  But recently I have had another reason to sing its praises.

For several months I have suffered from chronic pain in my left leg.  I am pretty sure it is related to a disk in my back pulling the muscles in my leg.  When I got my Young Living Starter Kit I was so excited to get the PanAway.  But much to my surprise, the PanAway did not stop my muscle pain.  It works great for tension in my shoulders but this pain was something entirely different.

So I got out my Essential Oils Desk Reference and began to research the oils that I had on hand.  I was relieved to read that Frankincense was recommended for muscle relaxation.  When I applied the oil neat (undiluted), the pain went away immediately!  After using Frankincense Oil for several weeks, the pain is nearly gone.  I rarely need to apply the oil anymore.

Please share your own experiences with Young Living Frankincense Oil.
